Cindy Foley : Stylist

Shop Owner, Red Seal Journeyman Hairstylist & Educator B.A., B.Ed.

Cindy has been doing hair since 1996 and spent five years as a Cosmetology Teacher in Alberta. 

Her specialties include cutting long-lasting wash and wear styles, reading and understanding each individual’s hair and sculpting it uniquely for you.

She loves creatively painting balayages and highlights full of natural colour dimensions. Cindy specializes in curly hair and long hair, razor cut shags and awesome fringes. Helping you to love your hair and feel beautiful is what she loves to do.

Cindy is also a passionate artist and painter who loves sacred geometry, chakras, bees and music. Viking symbols and nature sculpture have been themes in her current art. Recently in December 2021 she published her debut children’s book called The Gathering of The Ones which can be viewed at www.cindyfoleyartist.ca

Brie McInnes: Stylist              

A stylist of 14 years, Brie loves to create unique cuts and colours to bring out her clients best.

From precision bobs to textured shags to lengthy layers, Brie is known for her detailed cuts and curly cutting and styling. When it comes to colour, she loves using balayage and baby-light techniques to lighten and brighten, as well as creating bold colour change.

Brie is new to Cumberland after moving here from Vancouver in early 2019. She is excited about putting down roots in the Comox Valley with her family and feline friends and experiencing island life.

Ben Woodloft : Barber and Stylist

Ben is passionate in helping people achieve the look and feeling that they expect from a great fresh cut. 

As a barber, he is skilled and equipped to provide services like; pompadours, gentleman’s cut, fades, beard trim and hot shaves. He also enjoys suggesting styles that would suit the individual should you ever want to switch things up a bit.

Ben is new to Cumberland and is absolutely thrilled to explore the rain forests, lakes and maybe pick up snow boarding again. He finds clarity while drawing sacred geometry, and he finds the adrenaline through talking rides on his motorcycle – especially when everything is so beautiful around here. Ben can also be caught enjoying a good fiction novel. Book club anyone?

He is very excited to meet you and guide you through the art of being handsome.

Elisabeth E : Stylist

Elisabeth Bio Team photo

Elisabeth has 20 years experience, 10 of those spent working in Los Angeles, she’s now a Cumberland resident and looking forward to helping you achieve your hair dreams.

Soft toned balayage, bright highlights and textured no fuss looks are some of her specialties. As well as being skilled in consistency and precision cutting.

She’s heavily influenced by 60s and 70s fashion, art and culture. Loving her new life in Cumberland, she can often be found at Woven making textiles or eating chocolate at Dark Side.
